Using the Westminster Standards to Train Church Members

April 15, 2009

Heavenville Presbyterian Church of Yongin City, South Korea, a new congregational member of the World Reformed Fellowship, has started the "Heavenville Basic Doctrine Class" which is primarily based upon the Westminster Shorter & Larger Catechism and Confession for our church members. We meet once each week for about a year. The course is both theological and very practical. There are five parts in each class: 1) Objectives; 2) Contents; 3) Exams; 4) Applications; and 5) Required Verses for memorization. There are also evaluations every four week. It consists of 38 different study subjects(some subjects take 2 weeks) and 12 evaluations. For further information, contact WRF member Rev. Se Min Kim at heavenville@gmail.com.
