This January, 2011, I had the privilege of teaching a course on Paul to students of the Theological University of Kampen, in Holland. This great honor was due to an agreement of cooperation between my church, the Presbyterian Church of Brazil, and the Vrijgemaakt (Liberated) Reformed Church of the Netherlands. I was the first Brazilian professor teaching there in interchange agreement. Next year, two Dutch professors will come to Brazil to teach classes in Practical Theology and New Testament. I was very well received by the students. Classes were given in English. It was a compact module of one week. I finished with a class on the New Perspective on Paul and an exposition of Romans 1. I would like to encourage agreements and partnerships like these, where churches and seminaries from emerging countries like Brazil can also give some contribution to the countries of our Reformed forefathers.
