WRF Member Dr. Diane Langberg Will Headline Human Trafficking and Sexual Abuse Conference To Be Sponspored By Biblical Seminary, March  17 - 19, 2011.

From March 15 - 17, 2011, Biblical Seminary of Hatfield, Pennsylvania, will  sponsor a conference on Human Trafficking and Sexual Abuse.  The conference  is FREE but registration is required.


These are the conference speakers:

Diane Langberg, PhD

Dr. Langberg is a member of the World Reformed Fellowship and a  practicing psychologist whose clinical expertise includes 35 years of working  with trauma survivors and clergy. She is the director of Diane Langberg, Ph.D.  & Associates, whose staff has expertise in many areas including sexual and 
domestic abuse, addictions, depression and eating disorders.  Dr. Langberg  is the author of Counsel for Pastors' Wives (1998), On the Threshold  of Hope: Opening the Door to Healing for Survivors of Sexual Abuse  (1999), and Counseling Survivors of Sexual Abuse (2003).


Bethany Hoang, MDiv

Ms. Hoang serves as Director of the IJM Institute for International Justice Mission. IJM is a human rights agency that secures  justice for victims of slavery, sexual exploitation and other forms of violent  oppression. As Director of the IJM Institute, she is responsible for equipping  leaders of the global church and academic communities with tools and resources  for bringing others into a deeper level of understanding, passion, and  commitment to seeking justice on behalf of those who suffer abuse and oppression  in our world. 

Robert Morrison, MBA

Mr. Morrison's involvement in the fight against human trafficking began through his work in international
philanthropy in 2004. Bob most recently  served as Director of International Programs with Atlanta-based Sisters in  Service.  In 2009 Bob organized FREE - Freedom and Restoration for Everyone  Enslaved - in response to the emerging sex trafficking problem in Berks County,  PA. He now serves as a Co-Chairperson of the Berks Coalition Against Human  Trafficking. Bob's efforts also resulted in his selection to a Pennsylvania  Senate advisory committee, organized to make strategic recommendations to stop  human trafficking on a state level.

Pearl Kim, JD

Ms. Kim currently works at the Office of the District Attorney, Delaware County, PA in the Special Victims and Domestic Violence Division. As a special  victim's prosecutor, she prosecutes Protection From Abuse matters, Child Physical and Sexual Abuse, Rape, Domestic Violence, and Internet Crimes Against  Children. In addition to criminal prosecution, her position as an Assistant  District Attorney allows her to participate in the Violence Prevention  Collaborative and the STOP Violence Against Women legal clinic. In efforts to  reach out to underrepresented communities, she was designated the
Asian Outreach  Liaison.
