Report from Berean Evangelical School of Theology in Myanmar

April 16, 2011
Dear Dr. Sam,

Greetings from the golden land of Myanmar.

It's been, of course, a long time that I could not write a sentence to you but I have not ceased to pray for you, your family and ministry.

I am sending you this short letter of update letting you know about what the Lord Almighty is doing in and through us here in Myanmar.  We just finished our First Commencement Exercises and attached is some of a few pictures we have taken at the Graduation Service.  The Lord continues to use our lives in equipping a new generation of ministers and leaders to strengthen the mission and ministry of the Church in Myanmar.  We are committed in training men and women of God who will be specialists in God's word in the service of the King and his people.

After a week of rest, I will be heading to a small town called, Kalaymyo, 1000 miles away from the city Yangon where I and my family live.  I will be preaching and teaching at two Bible Churches which my wife and I founded in 2006.  I will be there for about fortnight and pray that the Lord will bless my journey and bless my teaching and preaching for the building up of the body of Christ in those churches.

I hope all is well with you and that the Lord continues to use your life in USA and beyond.  If you have any prayer requests, please share with us and we assure you that we  will pray for you, your family and ministry.

Please convey my love and regard to Susan and give her a big hug.  I have attached the picture of my wife and me for Susan to have a look at.

I look forward to hearing from you.

May the Lord Almighty bless you, your household and works for His glory and for the extension of His Kingdom.

Soli Deo Gloria!

In HIS Glorious Vineyard,

Henry Van Ceu Lyan, Founder-President
